" I watch you "troll" these boards with some kind of entitlement that makes no sense to me. You seem to grow more arrogant by the day. Chris I have never met you and can only judge you by your "on line persona" you may indeed be a great guy as you keep telling us. This is the kind of thread I would expect from a troll. WHAT IS THE POINT?

If you want to use Rennlist to sell cars thats fine, have your dealer by a sponsorship. For the record I have nothing against you, I just don't get it."

+1

case in point:

P-whip Sales Manager of Rennlistdom!

huhhh? without even a sponsorship???? pretty funny.

Agree w/ Edgy (Dan) - it's just a maturation process and will sort itself out. If you think this forum has gotten boring try some of the cycling/racing forums. Probably much like this site, they began as interesting discussions about technical aspects of bicyles and racing but devolved into how light a bike can be or which is better Campagnolo v. Shimano (which would be the Rennlist equivalent of M3 v. C2S). Then the trolls blossomed; and then character attacks and censoring began; and then they became personal networking sites for the 20 or so people that posted constantly. Compared to those cycling sites, all of which I quit, this one is a model of civility with generally good and helpful information (with a dearth of trolls). Boring or repetitive posts aside, just pick the ones you want to look at.

They both make a good point. Maybe Chris should become a sponsor, like Alfie Alfie has been a sponsor since before I joined Rennlist in '03. (no affiliation)

Stoppie - Thank God you did it because I was going to if you did not.

Side note - I am so tired of - "Is this a good deal / price" ?

1) do your own market research
2) Pay what you can afford
3) Stop bugging the rest of us that bought them new or slightly used well within our means.
4) Lastly - don't insult those that have had to sell their beloved cars do to the economic downturn.

There is a time on every forum when people just run out of
issues to talk about; therefore repetition will occur.

Nevertheless, this is the most active forum by a long shot. When
a question/comment is posted, generally within a short time
there are a large number of responses.

My other forum, the Range Rover Sport Forum, is also a great
forum, however, receiving one or two replies is at most all
you will receive.

Carry on.

Thank you.

It's been a long day. It's hard to be a Moderator/Adult day care provider/Therapist.

1- that's why we come to this forum...
2- I CAN afford MSRP, that doesn't mean I have to pay it. That's true not only when buying a p-car, applies to everything in life. It's not only price, a good deal involves service, integrity from the seller and everything in between
3- No one is obligated to answer questions here, Q's are posted on an OPEN forum and you are free to contribute if you want...
4- I don't see that happening on this forums, nobody make fun or insult somebody going through economic stress.

I think he's referring to all those comments regarding living beyond one's means when someone's having to sell.

Carry on peeps.
make sure you dump all the Ebay, Craigslist For Sale links in the new subforum.
Have you ever looked in the archives for posts and seen all the worthless / dead links that someone thought were important at one time?

cheers

I think pricing/deal questions belong in the forum. It's part and parcel of the Porsche experience. If people are looking for a little help so they can get themselves a Porsche, so be it. If that thread doesn't interest you, ignore it. If you don't like country music, don't tune it in on your radio, right? This is EVERYONE'S thread, not just those who don't care to be annoyed with pricing questions. Same goes for PDK questions, options questions, etc. Get rid of the annoying noise by tuning it out if you don't like it.
