Leave it to Wicked....
At least put in an upgraded shifter and handbrake on the old style interior, and replace the peeling left/right a/c vent housings. Ouch.

There was an old discussion on 6 speed on these guys a while ago. The owner came on and tried to defend his company's practice of refurbishing salvage title 996s with 997 facia, and -- like the steering wheel guy on RL -- just dug the hole deeper. The thread was shut down bc the dude wasn't a sponsor. But a lot of people there thought the cars sucked and the sales practices were shady.
They do disclose that the cars have salvage title and that they are based off the 996 car. If I would be selling, I would not be comfortable saying that I can't guarantee a car has been in an accident, though, when the car has a salvage title. If the car has a salvage title, then the odds seem pretty high the car has been in accident, right? At any rate, I don't get why anyone would buy a vulgar ersatz 997 or "998" that is based off a car with a salvage title. But they are still in business for some reason, as Stoppie says ... Oh, and $94K for an '01 turbo. LOL.
