In Southern California, using your car to "express" your displeasure or anger at someone's else's driving is an immature invitation to great bodily harm. It may not happen today, or even tomorrow, but eventually, driving to provoke confrontations is going to create a problem you can't speed away from.
You statement is very true.
Massachusetts without a doubt has the WORST drivers of all, and they apparently are unaware that tailgating, running red lights, not using turn signals, and failing to yield to oncoming traffic when turning left are all ways of getting shot at in other states, like California.
As far as the worst state for drivers? I'd vote Florida - where people often put their turn-signals on the minute they leave their driveways...and just leave 'em on. I believe it's referred to as the "eventual left turn" (or right). Geesh.
Easy explanation for this, the state is filled with retirees from NY and NJ

When I lived in MA I thought they were the worst too....Then I moved to GA. Boy, did I miss those Massholes! In Mass the driving style is definitely aggressive and turn signals only serve to give the other guy an unfair advantage. In Georgia, random acts of stupidity are far more common. I honestly believe that those people simply can't process incoming data fast enough to drive safely. Sooooo glad to be back in civilization.
