Im still undecided. All weekend I liked it....today after lookin at my pics again I tend to agree with you.

It's a bit ironic that you remove the proper badge and insert your own in a personalized license plate.

I ordered mine without the cheap plastic stickers on the back.

I think it looks awesome without it. Badass really.

A few pics of those without.

Mine came from the factory without the script added... so its factory .. not debadged. Just not 'badged'.

Anyone have the specs for reinstallation of an emblem? (assume there is no legacy indication on the decklid)

When the original one comes off (or is taken off), you can still see a "faint" image of where it is so, I used safe painters blue tape to mask the straight line, and then lined up the new logo badge against that once installed, I simply used some Zaino AIO to get the residual gum off I have no skills at all, and it was a simple task

There is history behind the name Carrera. Why someone would want to obliterate it is beyond me.

I am undecided whether I want to debadge mines or not. I have a color painted Carrera badge that I might put in place of the original, or just keep it clean looking.

Havent decided yet.

Choices, choices.

If I was ordering from the factory it would have been without the badge.

just to clarify... that doesn't mean anything, right? I've always thought it would be hilarious to get a "Vanity plate" which was just a random collection of letters and numbers in the same format as your state issues anyway.

It's not really obliterated from the car. My door sills still prominently display Carrera S whenever a door is opened.

Here's my reason for ordering the clean look:

The car screams "carrera" without the badge... that being said I like badged and debadged looks. I wouldn't expend any effort to take mine off, but wouldn't expend any effor to put one on.

My we are a little sensitive today aren't we? I guess you never heard of irony before. So tell me why do you need the badge?
