Default 05 Carrera S and 09 M3

I test drove an '05 Carrera S and an '09 M3 yesterday. Both were very fun, but the Carrera had the 'wow' factor for me. Drove them both on the same roads and the Porsche felt like it was on rails going around tight turns. So my decision is made. That being said, the Carrera is a CPO car. What exactly do you get buying a CPO car as opposed to buying from an individual or independent dealer?

And PPI = replaced/repaired items if it isn't up to Porsche specs (tires, brakes, etc...)

Not surprised that you made the decision that you did. M3 is a good car, but just can't match the overall driving experience of a Porsche.

I was facing the same choice myself. New M3 or 06 C2S Cab. For the same reasons I chose the C2S Cab. I just remembered the smile I couldn't swipe off my face after driving the C2S.

911 is lotta fun. M3 is more stable and reliable.

I tried the 911 several times while I owned M3, M3 and now M6. Felt better returning to the stability of the BMWs.

The M3 is a screamer but not quite as agile as the 911 which is more nimble.

Now that I'm retired and have more time to play, I'm looking for a 911S Cab for sunny days, will keep the M6.

BTW when we travel we take wife's car. She drives because she don't want to ride with me. She is an excellent driver but doesn't understand why I enjoy hanging the rear end out.

I have an 08 M3 and an 09 C2S at the moment. i just luv em both but for different reasons. The P car is definitely the most engaging as a sports car, but 420hp in the M3 still puts a smile on my face and is much more comfortable on a long trip.

have an 07 M6...too heavy! C2S or C4 or C4s are on the horizon for me!
