I'm very curious to hear any firsthand opinions and impressions of the new PSE (particularly as to how much does it really improve the growl of the 997.2 S). The sound of it on the only youtube clip I've seen of it (camcorder video from Germany apparently) sounds promising when compared to the very disappointing muted engine/exhaust sound of the non-PSE DFI Carrera S. Also wondering if there will be an option for placing normal looking chrome tips on the official PSE (assuming that the horrifying hotdog-in-a-bun PSE tips actually land on our shores - talk about something that makes you want to loose your mind :-) Looking at possibly ordering a '10 997.2 S with PSE later this year.

I got mine today. C4S with PSE. Still in break in so I can't say how it soounds at full chant.

Can the PSE be on all the time or is it only on when the miles per hour are above a certain minimum amount?

I'm sure it's like the 997mkI cars PSE, just take off the vacuum hose and 'BAM!'
