Depending on your conditions you get about 3-400 gallons of spotless water. Resin is EXPENSIVE....recently I tried to go around them and buy direct from a water softner guy and it ended up costing me 100 bucks for nothing. Had to order from CR anyway as I could not find their resin anywhere but with them. Their are no filters in the canisters just resin your water flows thru. Its all that and more....I use it only on my Porsche and wash the rest of my fleet with regular city water.
