is a 911 CAB that much quieter than Boxster S?

owned both, 986, 987S and 997.1 C2 cab. I loved the way the Boxster sounded and handled but loved the 997 for it's superior ride, handling and space. Love the look of both rearends! But, the C4s has won me over this time. But, that doesn't exclude another Boxster S!

funny thread - i am thinking hard about going from the RS 60 back to a 911 - cab this time - because the RS is too quiet. the engine hangs out behind you in the 911 - in the box it is completly burried under a lot of stuff.

A Boxster S would completely suck.... For my kids. I tell you I get at least as much enjoyment with my 3 kids in the 997S as I do driving solo.
Being able to impart my near life long love of the brand to my kids is important to me. Maybe too much so. They tell me I'm obsessed with the car.
