Just push the top of the strut all the way in. I had a 997S, and I believe I could only get around -0.6 in that car, but my Cayman goes to -0.8.

Damn, I hope these new shoes fit. They are 9's with 50mm offset.

Just sold the racecar so wanted to keep the 997 suspension stock, its so nice on the street right now.

I got mine to -1, but I think that's about as much as you can expect out of the stock suspension. ymmv

Machina, CCW's built for a GT3 997S? If so they will fit.

pardon my ignorance, but does anyone make camber plates for these cars? they shouldnt make that much of a difference from the stock ride, but will give you the adjustability you want, no? I'm running -3 up front in my 95 M3... 255 width tires in the front

I do not believe there are camber plates for the stock PASM suspension...BUT... I think Sharkwerks/RSS just came out with a bunch of suspension mods for the 997. I have always been told it is best to replace the lower control arms with GT3 lowers and then you can dial in more negitive camber in the front.

Plenty of threads on this subject - try a search. Most of us that had (or have) a 997.1 got the GT3 cup control arms. Total was about $1300 including labor and alignment and I got -2.3 which is what I was looking for. 9" wheels should work, but those offsets look way off - wheel shouldn't stick out like that. Looks like almost 1" too far out.

They are out like that because when the strut is unloaded you get positive camber, the more it is compressed the more negative the camber angle.

My concern is that these offsests probably need at least -2 deg to keep the wheels flush. At -1 deg they probably will stick out. I may live with that if it means i can keep my stock suspension.
