Does Seal Gray Look Good In Person?
I hate to ask another question regarding colors, however, in my
neck of the woods, 911's are few and far between so I don't see
them on the street with any frequency.
Out of the plethera of 997's I have been looking at via the internet,
I have run across a 2005 997S in Seal Grey with lobster claws.
How does this color look in person?

Here's a pic (not the best..I should really take some pics) of my Seal Gray 996 Targa. It's lighter than Meteor Gray and darker than GT Silver. Even if you didn't like the color, it would be hard to hate it.

I'm pretty sure the 996 Targa (pictured) is no wider then the regular 996 C2 or C4.... Also, I believe those are a factory wheel option rather than aftermarket.

I know all of the 997's are the same width. When I said it looked a bit wider and fatter, I was actually refering to Cmoss's seal picture--as in the mammal.

All 997's are not the same width. The Porsche website is incorrect.
The narrow body cars are 71.18" wide: C2/C2S (both Coupe and Cab) and GT3
The wide body cars are 72.91" wide: C4/C4S (Coupe and Cab),T4/T4S, Turbo (Coupe and Cab), GT3 RS, GT2

For what it's worth, the 4WD 997 is about 1 1/2 wider than the C2, which is why it's called a 'wide body'.
Now your question; my 06 is seal grey and I'm delighted. Really does not show dust or dirt unless it is really filthy and stands out nicely when it is polished. Arctic silver is the "traditional" Porsche color for 40+ years but I thought that there were "too many" of them around, but nothing wrong with it. Atlas grey was "too dark" for me but Porsche retained it and dropped the seal grey this year - no idea why and I've had 3 different dealers tell me that they could not figure this out. (for some inexplicable reason I do like the Atlas on the C4S but not on the C2S.)
