Some of you guys are confusing N-rated 19" Cups (that he would run) with other Cups. The 19s are excellent in the rain - this conclusion after many track days in various states of rain (mist, light rain, heavy rain, torrential rain, etc.). The 19" cups have wider rain channels and the compound is better for cold / wet use. They give up a little bit in dry traction - but for what the OP is looking for, they are a perfect match (street / track tires).

You can also add this AM's light snow to the list of weather you can drive N rated 19" cups in without issue!
