Default 997.2 SPASM springs on 997.1 PASM

Thinking about the 997.2 Sport PASM springs as an alternative to H&R or Eibach springs which lower too much IMO.

Anyone know if the 997.2 SPASM springs with their higher rate and 10mm lower stance would fit on a 997.1 PASM car?

Dont know how to find out if the PASM struts/shock are same part number for 997.1 and 997.2.

TIA

These are totally different suspensions - now Generation 2 PASM. So I can't imagine that you could swap them. The rear springs in the Gen 2 Sport PASM are progressive, where the rears in the Gen 1 (2005-8) are linear.

You will have to consult your dealer to find out.

Go with H&R or Eibach. Have had H&R for three years-No issues.

I don't believe they will match correctly. I looked into this a little.

If you want to go the springs only route look at Techart. They are a reasonable drop of 15mm on a PASM car.

I had H&Rs on my '06 C2S also. No issues in 10K miles.
