So I was washing my car this Saturday finally and took a cleaning swipe to inside the doors over the sill and noticed that the passenger side stainless sill cover looks warped and not seated flat to the body at the front end.
I remember reading that the part is supposed to be glued in by double-sticky tape. Given the opening below it.. I'm no worried that water will be able to run in from the sill into the body frame. Yes, its inside the door seal, so not exposed to the outside water, but still, its an opening.
I guess I need to take the new car in to have them remove, flatten (or replace) the stainless illuminated panel and then re-adhere it.
