I just did the oil also. I could
not believe the price $6 a quart.
The price of gas goes down but the price
of oil goes up. Go figure.

I signed up a month or so ago. The oil has to be purchased in between April 1st and the end of August of this year so you haven't missed out on this rebate yet.

Not worth $10 for them to have my telephone number and mailing address.

But is it worth $20? 2 rebates per household.

Yeah, but I only change my oil once a year. Every 15,000 track miles right?

+1 on that I hate to give my info away for $10 or $20 and then have them email me, call me....

Now free Mobil Oil I might think about that.

Hey, $20 is $20. I figured in this economy it might be useful to someone so I posted.

Yeah, the rebate game sucks. I guess they have less than 100% redemption rate so it is cheaper of them to rebate that to reduce the price or offer a coupon for the discount.

I've never changed my oil in a Porsche since my '95 - but I might want to so I went thru their registration/signon process. What a pain in the ***. I was expecting them to ask me to mail in a sample of my precious bodily fluids to get their $10 coupon.
