Default FVD “BROMBACHER” Primary muffler bypass system for 2009 997/997S

Our “BROMBACHER” Primary muffler bypass system for the 2009 997/997S increases the amount of exhaust flow dramatically with its 2 1/2 inch (63.5 mm) diameter tubing. The increase in engine performance, torque and efficiency is noticed across the entire rev range. By designing a system that increases the mass and velocity of exhaust flow to this extent; we saw dramatic reduction in backpressure and thermal stress. The end result unleashes the 2009 997/997S potential for increased power, torque and responsiveness. The sound exhibits a strong, linear, firing-order dominated flat 6 Porsche sound, which is louder and more distinguished all without resonance. Our system is fully adjustable for easy installation, which reduces installation costs. In addition, our systems’ must be tested by the German independent testing agency the TUV. The TUV test’s our systems for corrosion properties, extreme temperature reliability, material dexterity and overall performance. Not many of our competitors can claim that they meet or exceed TUV guidelines.

“BROMBACHER” Primary muffler bypass system highlights:

· 2 ½” (63.5 mm) diameter tubing.
· T316 Stainless Steel.
· Adds up to 5% Hp and torque at the crank.
· Adjustable design for easy installation.
· Includes Quick release clamps
· $ 1,095.00

Thanks for the information - can you post your dyno charts? When you say up to 5% at the crank, you are talking about 19.25 HP / TQ, moving 385 up to 404.25? When you say "up to" are you meaning that 5% is the maximum and if so, where in the RPM band is it (thus the request for the dyno charts)? Wondering why the 2-piece design - is it for ease of installation?

Thanks much!
Ron

Ron,

Your welcome for the information. I will have the dyno sheets from Germany in the next few days. I will have direct answer's from Germany in the morning for you. We just received a shipment of new exhaust parts for the 997-2 so we will be posting all of our finding's in the next week.

The 2 peice design is for ease of installation.

Thanks for your inquiry,
Rhonda
