You did it right, Dave. Certainly over the top for most, but I think you hit the nail on the head. Enjoy your new ride. Smile, dude, the economy will change again next week. Really, it will.

Good luck with it.

Wow Dave, amazing custom car! I was forever enamored by the 911 since an orange 911 circa 1975 showed up in my neighborhood as a kid. Love it!

That said, it is certainly very original and not mainstream. Good thing you took Ira Porsche off the hook. They would have struggled to sell that thing to the buyer off the street!

Believe me I considered just ignoring it.

Thanks....I've always loved orange. I would love to own a GT3 or RS in Orange but it's just not practical enough for me as a DD in the Northeast.

You're probably right. It's a pretty polarizing color,...but man I love it.

Dave, Bee-U-T-FUL car!! I'm glad you decided to get it. When you pour your guts into an order like you did... well, I'm glad it all worked out well!

PTS orange is my favorite color. Fortune favors the brave.

No painted seat backs? I would have had to have orange seatbacks.

Great car!

Hate to lose you to the TT forum though.

Dave,

I am really glad you ended up taking it. I know how hard it was for you to decide. You made the right choice, my friend!!

With any luck, I'll get to see it in person one day. But you know my next question: How will you feel when the snow's up to your windshield again?! :O

GO FOR IT.
not many orange TT's.
just keep it a long time and really put the mileage on. then the money would be well spent.

Nice Coochas! I missed your Fall dilemma, but glad to see you rationalize it and it sounds like you will fully enjoy it! I like your build, for some reason I like the Orange.

Will you still be able to use your winter set wheels?? Hope so! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the TT.

Sorry to lose you to the TT crowd
