Default Heads Up on the 997.2 "Issues"

Just back from the dealership where we discussed that many of the cars that they are getting in have quality issues with them that point to a lack of attention to detail. Attached photo for your review. See if you can figure out what minor thing is wrong with that car...

No reflector strip.

If any consolation, I think it looks better this way.

There is supposed to be a reflector strip on all the 4s. (Believe it or not, this Carrera 4 also came with the badge "Carrera 4S" on the lid,--the dealership had to remove the S.)

Assuming it's a really a 4, it has the "2" decklid (and I won't spell it out for those not yet catching on) otherwise it's actually a narrow body car with an errant "4" stuck on there. Either way, pretty pathetic. Then again, if it's actually a wide body 2WD, that could be cool ... : )

Maybe the guy responsible for affixing the hideous reflector strip to the cars at the factory is trying to do new owners a favor.

I like it.

Then again, I like the Panamera, too. And the Cayenne. And brussel sprouts.

If the only issues w/ the 997.2 are these, I lose no sleep over it. I'm interested to hear about engine, PDK or suspension issues, if any.
