Flat Tire...Happy Ending
Hello,
I had a flat (driver's rear tire) on my car the other day. My current tires (pretty old Continental tires that I bought the car with) are no longer made and the dealer recommended I replace all 4 tires. Since I couldn't buy the same exact tire, the dealer called Porsche and they agreed to buy the 2 front tires if I bought the 2 rears...a great deal for me since I was going to have to buy all 4 soon anyway.
My new tires are 18" Michelin PS2 N4.
Has anyone else had Porsche chip in on replacement tires when the old make was no longer available?
I love happy endings....Go Panthers!

Same thing happened to me. Had Conti Sport Contact 2 N0 specs. Needed 2 new rears. Porsche provided 2 new ps2 and I paid for the other 2. Funny thing is I asked the dealer if I could keep the front tires being replaced since they both had some decent tread left but they told me that Porsche requires them to send back all 4 four original tires. Must be a lot of tire swings in Stuttgart!
