Default Deals (GT2)

Was down at my local Porsche dealership today and they had a slightly pre-owned GT2 with less than 550 miles on it. Marked at just under $185,000. Black leather, with some sort of anthracite metallic paint. Just FYI.

The market is soft. Dan, you should offer them $170K and insist on a European delivery.

For all I know, he still might own it.

I have to say that the GT2 is very tempting, but I think I'm spoiled by the soft top and some other little things. That GT2 is beautiful. I think it was in the showroom for about a month before someone shelled out about $209 for it.

A sequential shifter would be fun to use.

Drive one. I know at least one owner who ordered/bought it, and returned it days later. Way too harsh for a daily driver. Now if you were a track junky, that's another story!

If it was me and I had the $$ I'd keep it as a collector item.

that and I'd park it in my LIVING ROOM, so I can bond with it. LOL

Who buys a car like that only to sell it after putting 550 miles on it?

Yeah, yeah, I know--rich people--but that's just absurd, and you see it all the time, even with cheaper cars.

The GT2 is a real weapon. But Dan has the nicest 997C2S cab in the country in my opinion.

My C2S doesn't feel too harsh. My old RX-7 Turbo had such firm suspension that I could drive over a dime and tell if it was heads or tails.
