Ok, so whats an imperial gallon that is different from a US gallon (or is it imperial miles that are different)?
I thought we are using the imperial system?
Oh, damit, what is wrong with our measurement system here.. not only do we still use some imperial measurements, but we use variations off of those measurements? Argh.
Still, 35mpg is pretty sweet for a 997

Check out a pint of beer in the US versus a pint of beer in the UK. It is one of the few things that are bigger this side of the pond to your side. Nevertheless, I can see why former colonies wich to cast off the Imperial shackles of the past.

I get about 27 mpg in my S Cab PDK as long as I don't engage Sport mode. With Sport mode active it drops to around 22 mpg.

Note that the 35mpg was achieved by driving a modest average speed of 52 mph over the 400 miles. How many of us would drive at that average speed on highways? My mileage drops quickly as speed increases.
