I like Starbucks. In fact I like their coffee enough that I generally stop there on the way to the race track. When I was tracking my 997S, I'd drink my cappuccino while I was driving my 997 to the track. Once I got to the track, I'd finish my coffee, and then take the car out and drive the living **** out of it. These cars are made to be driven. Hard.

A true professional drinks cappucino while on the track.

Nope. Should I care?

I like Starbucks. Haven't tried McDonald's or DD, but I would have to go to one to those find out, so, its seems unlikely.

Now if Whataburger made latte's, I might give it a try.

I like the post-it/sticky approach for sealing the cups - looks like could be a good way to recycle those "sign here" things that pervade my life.

My God you're a slow learner. Not it's "cappucino" (sic), it's latte. I'm beginning to think there is no chance we'll ever teach you to drive.

OK, one more time. Here are the track notes for TWS, with a slight improvement on the front straight. Take notes this time, ok?

Go straight, have a sandwich
Go straighter
Go left
Keep going left
Go straight
Go right
Go straight
Go right
Go straight
Go left
Go lefter
Go straight
Go left -- pray
Go straight
Go left
Go straight
Go right
Go straight
Go right
Keep going right
Have a latte
Keep going right
Go left
Go straight
Go left
Go straight
Go left, right, left

They're only jealous 'cause they don't have cup holders.

Damn, no wonder I keep screwing up T10. I may need to post that on my steering wheel so I don't forget.

I hear that Gemballa and Strosek are offering something like this for Porsche owners who are worried about spills. Carbon fiber is an extra cost option, natch:

I ate a Whopper with Fries in my car last night for the first time,....with Diet Coke of course.
Come to think of it, I haven't eaten a Whopper in about 10 years. I was on a 24-hour call and traveling between facilities around 8PM. I hadn't had a bite all day and felt the urge.
All I can say is that is the messiest friggin food I have ever eaten (aside from eating at the Y). I got half way through the fries and tossed it in the trash.
I'm home now,....my stomach still hurts, and I have hateful,....I mean hateful farts.

As for the original topic, I stopped the Starbucks thing and use a K-cup machine at home and a travel mug. I have to agree that having a Starbucks latte swish over on the console is nasty. I don't think the Starbucks in my area have those green plugs....never seen them

Way too much information! But then you tend to reveal too much!
