Default Add XM to a 2009?

Can you add XM radio to a 2009 911? It has PCM3.0, but did not come with sat radio. Thanks

There is a retrofit unit which attaches to the pcm installed by the dealer. I priced this out for my 2005 997 and it was going to cost somewhere between 1100-1200 dollars including labor...ouch! The antenna is place along the cowl, so it is nicely concealed BTW

2005 is PCM 2.1 2009 is PCM 3.0 and according to Porsche NOTHING is upgradable at this point. I am sure it will be, but the question is will it be a moduale in the back of your current PCM or is it PCM replacement completely. I have yet to pull a PCM 3.0...

I suspect that a full retrofit (update) to some of the newer technology will be cost prohibitive. There may be more to all of this than simply swapping out PCMs...

When I ordered my wife's 09 Cayenne S, without XM, they asked if I was sure and said it costs a bunch to add later. Not very scientific, but the sales manager I was with knows his stuff so I suspect it can be added, just costly.
