Default Since we all love pics - My new garage floor

I finally got around to taking some pics of the floor I laid down several months ago...also got in some obligatory shots of the P-car. Floor was from Swisstrax, and I am very pleased with the outcome. I only shot the left side 2-car garage, but the garage is a 3-car one, and total cost was ~ $1,100 (my wife and I laid them down). Very simple install, and she gets credit for the sweet pattern.

Looks nice.
Just out of curiousity can water, oil, etc. get down between the cracks?

Probably can...however, I have had no issues of consequence, as the "seal" when all snaps in is quite tight Also, if for some reason there is an issue, the section can simply be "snapped up," any areas cleaned, and then the tiles just snapped back into place Seems very very durable, and I vacuum it weekly to keep dust / dirt to a minimum

Please show us a picture of the stuffage just to reassure us that you are human.

You must not have a basement because your heating/AC is in your garage!

'tis true Very few, if any basements allowed in FL due to the high water tables in other words, basements quickly become unwanted indoor swimming pools

I like the pattern, some artistic talent there. Nice job. Often times regular patterns we see are bland / boring. Did you check out Racedeck before deciding on Swisstrack? Racedeck had a deal for $1.99/sqft at a hot rod show. Kicked myself later for not going for it.

That looks great. I'm going to put something on the garage floor next spring and I'm still trying to decide between an epoxy floor coating and modular tiles like RaceDeck. I like the look of the tiles but I was concerned about how hard it is to keep that textured surface clean since one end of my garage is also my yardwork HQ, and this time of year whenever the garage door is open all the leaves seem to end up in the garage.

Thanks I did not someone told me about swisstrax and I was impressed. Also, at the time, they had a clearance on some slightly imperfect tiles (e.g., some of the beiges are darker than others, but barely noticeable), and they were marked down to $0.99 sq foot so, I have almost an 800 square foot garage, so the savings were great. Plus, it's a garage...these tiles going to get dirty anyway!
