Do we need to include a Porsche in the shot? From yesterday and today,--from 22ºF to 73ºF.

I think we got somewhere between 8-10 inches in Boston yesterday (please, no requests for 'the photo'). I went out today to get some cold remedies for my Coochas honey and an internet pick up order from Best Buy. This is an iPhone pic near the Back Bay Best Buy store on Newbury Street.
It looks like it's snowing more now and the forecast is for snow tomorrow. Winter is upon us.

Today was my first time in the white stuff with the 911. It was 17 degrees F as I ran some Christmas errands, so most parking lots and side streets were still snow/slush covered. The C4S handled everything with ease. I was very happy with its ability to put power to the ground and find traction. It's nice having the engine weight over the rear wheels. This car is very easy to rotate and then simply digs in pulling out of corners.

I can't imagine not wanting to drive one of these things in the winter. Salt and gravel be damned! It's only paint!

My favorite view (shot from my BlackBerry Pearl):

What a great shot! You're driving the right car for that area! Reminds me of my days in Concord, Lexington and Nashua,--was I GLAD to get out of there!!

Thanks!

We're thinking about relocating. Right now the East Bay area is on our radar, maybe someplace like Alameda or Albany. The goal is to get there in 2 years. We're definitely starting to tire of these winters.

Another one from today as I went out to pick up lunch for the family:

The roads were snow-covered but slushy, so there wasn't a lot of grip. FWD cars with all-season tires were losing battles on hills. Even I felt a bit squirrelly out there. The other drivers, especially the SUVs, were scaring the living daylights out of me!

Rob, where is that? Lake Samish?

With it still thick as heck up here in Sammamish, I now cannot easily see where the road ends and the curb starts. Tomorrow will be a hoot of a commute. Time to add some more dirt on top of the dirt from this weekend.

Sorry no action shots - The C4S has been a lot more fun to drive in the snow than I ever imagined. We had 22-24" of snow in the North Shore Mass. area and I've driven it every day throughout - our Cayenne S is now the garage queen....
