Default Nav and Euro. Delivery

Just curious. If you opt for the new nav.system and Euro.delivery, would you be able to use it while traveling in Europe since the new nav. has a hard drive (no DVD) and would be loaded with NA datas? Or does Porsche is smart enough to load it with Euro.maps at delivery and reload it with NA maps before being shipped to the U.S.?

it will be loaded with Euro maps and then when it's at the dealership they'll enable the NA maps.

If you do Euro delivery, it will be the best money you ever spent! I love maps and finding my way, but when I did Euro delivery with Nav, what fun! A blast. Point and shoot;-) Enjoy and hope your dealership knows what it is doing when it comes to Euro delivery, not all are created equal!

I just got back from 2 weeks (and 2018 kilometers of driving) in France and Germany. I can't imagine how difficult it was to get around before GPS nav systems were developed. I understand the new Porsche touch-screen system allows you to touch a destination on the screen, and then it will take you there. If that how it really works that would be an incredibly useful feature.

Porsche AG will make sure it works right for you. The European version (because of real time traffic advisories) will make short work of any "Stau" (backup) situations by routing you to quicker alternates.
