911 Engine R&D sim at the ring

What do you guys make out of this?? Looks like they're simulating the engine angles as the car goes through the Nurburgring Circuit! You could see the Ring's map on the lower right.

Just fyi...this was posted a while back in a 6 or so page article. I'll dig up the link if I can find it, it was a really good writeup.
