Default 2009 C4/4s launch cars at the dealers? Any pics?

I understand that some dealers have received their 2009 C4/4s launch cars and they are on the way for those dealers that have not received them. Does anyone have pics? Thanks.

I drove one on Tuesday but didn't take any pics.

It was Meteor Grey with PDK and SPASM.

Stoppie mentioned he would post pics soon.

I think the dealer told me that the cabs were going to be Ruby Red.

First and foremost, congrats on the promotion. Well deserved and thanks again for all your great posts including the pics above. Much aprecited.

A couple of questions on the 2009 C4S:

The stub on the roof - is that for XM or NAV or?
In our opinion - how comfortable are the racing seats?

Thanks.

Oh Thank You Thank You!!

The stub = XM only. No stub if you have no XM and you do want NAV.

The seats? Well.........Funny you ask..........

They're what I like to call, a little slice of

HEAVEN!!!

I'm 5'11" 185lb med build. I love them. I'd have no problem rocking those seats. Just gotta be careful getting in and out. That's all.

Surprised on the seats...they look like they'd be painful.

If your in a market served by XM's NavTraffic service, it could be worth the bump on the roof or back (if you get a Targa or Cabriolet) to get the XM service to provide suplemental real-time local data for the NAV system.

Stopped by today to test drive the PDK... this was in the showroom:

Went by the dealer to look at the new 997 and drive the PDK... they had this in the showroom:

with MY DREAM SEATS!!

and it allows my children to get in the back, perfect!

Ohhh nooo... sweet seats! I got in and those things just held me in place nicely (5' 7", 38W, Latin butt ). Very nice seats that would be great for the track as well as the road... specially for someone like me that still needs access to the rear seats for the children.

just went and tested those seats out at local dealer... definitely would be great for track, but absolutely not adjustable and not super comfortable for long drives or daily drive. real PIA to get in and out of . I am a fat boy, but they fit nicely, comfortable. so that is not the issue. Just the lack of adjustment... would think it would suck to have them for DD but awesome on a track only car.

PAG really blew the rear stripe design, my opinion. The 996 variant that I drive now nailed it. This still appears to look 'tacked' on. Bummer. But nice stuff otherwise.
