Default 19" Summer vs WinterTire Air Pressures

I'm wondering if people run different pressres on their 19" snowies (n-rated of course ) than they do for summers...Any advantages / dis advantages running different pressures than posted in the doorjam ?

I run the same pressures for summer and winter tires. Don't see any reason to do anything different.

The tire size does not change, so the air chamber size and load capacity stays the same. Run at placarded PSI and keep an eye on. Remember: tires gain/lose a pound for every 10 degrees difference in ambient temp.

Thanks for the responses.

10 degree variance from what "normal" temperature ?

I wonder what outside temperature those air pressure #'s that Porsche puts on the door are suppoed to be at as"normal" temperatures vary significantly around the world, and even in North AMerica

its just a guess, but I think there is an ISO temp standard that is pretty well recognized around the world. I believe it is in the low 50s F.
