WHITE SMOKE QUESTION
After I run the car hard on the track I park it until the next session.
Upon start-up, there are huge billows of white smoke coming out of the exhaust, and that lasts for about a full minute. When it first happened a few months ago I thought that perhaps the oil was over-filled, but that is not the case.
Can anyone shed light on what the problem and fix are?
TIA,
Mr. B

This seems to be a relatively commonl oocurance after driving on the track. You might try letting the car cool down prior to shutting it off. If it has been driven hard, you get a little oil seep. Running the car for a couple of minutes after exiting the track will help reduce/eleminate the white smoke on the next startup.
If that doesn't stop it, then it could be your oil separator.

Interstingly mine uses hardly any oil at all - even after a good track day!
