997.2 PDK steering feel
Some say that the new 997.2 PDK steering is numb. What's the consensus of Rennlist.com 997.2 owners on this, particularly owners who came from 997.1.
Is there a difference in feel between the 997.2 PDK steering and the 997.2 manual tranny steering? If there is a difference in steering feel what's the reason? different steering design or different steering wheel feeling (as the PDK steering wheel is thicker)?

I have driven several 2008 997s' as well as the 2009 and find the steering on the 997.2 to be more responsive and provide better feedback. In fact I defered from a 2008 Carrera S and got a Cayman S when my GT3 was bought back but the 2009 car is a considerable improvement, steering, suspension, engine and transmission. The standard interior also seems to be upgraded. Impressive vehicle.

Definitely, and my post wasn't meant to be criticism. I think a lot of us frequent different forums and occasionally also cross-post. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Team often provides a better international perspective, and so does Six, and the latter also has a younger and more modding-oriented crowd. Dave (Coochas) recently pointed out another new forum, but I forgot the name.
