More cobalt pics . . .
I couldn't help taking these the other day in, of all places, the local BoA parking lot. I love the appearance of the finish at low light levels.

You're dreaming. Each model has a designated list of standard and optional colors. If outside that list for the 911 you will have to pay for P-T-S.

Maybe I am just color blind.
As for it becoming a norm, even if the launch colors seem to be the Racing Green and the Aqua Blue, I am certain we will be seeing a continuation of the black/grey/silver parade.

Was in the dealership today checking up on my Boxster (IMS bolt failure, ugh!) and there was a new 911 in Aqua Blue. Ok, it wasn't in direct sunlight but it was right by the windows and the new color just doesn't have the depth that Cobalt Blue has. Every day, I consider myself lucky it was one of the regular metallic paint choices when I ordered my car.
