Color? I like Cobalt, but I need to see Aqua in person before I order it.

And...$102K for a C2S! WOW. Does anyone else in the United States think that is expensive? I never thought I would consider spending over 100K on a automobile. I know there are some really well off people on this site, but for those of us who are not ultra wealthy, 100K is a lot to spend on a car.

Not sure on the steering wheel. I assume you can get PDK without multi function. If that is the case I would lose the multi function. I have it on my "old car" and never use it.

Do the heated seats now include ventilated seats? If not I would and the ventilated option.

You might also want to consider adding sport exhaust or plan on opting for the FisterD hack (my preference).

Love the XRR rims.

$2100 for nav is very expensive. If you will use the nav a lot, I would get it. Otherwise, I would bag the nav and buy a Garmin for occasional use though I don't know if there are resale implications to skipping the nav, I suspect not.

Unfortunately, I think the Bose is a necessary evil for resale. Personally, I also like an integrated satellite radio.

Sports chrono plus is essential with PDK, though I believe the price is about $1400.

Color is obviously highly inividualistic. I have seen the aqua. Nice but not sure I am sold on it. I have always liked the cobalt. Would like to see cobalt and aqua side by side.

Best of luck. I am sorting out my own choices currently.

I agree on the seats, I have the adapative sport seats in my Cayman S and they are great for my back. I would also include Limited slip Dif. To me that is even mre important than the sport Chrono. My wife and I go tonight for the "invitation only" official showing by our local Porsche dealer. It includes a showing of the movie Eagle Eye. tomorrow I drive a PDK ...... the next day well we shall see. Enjoy the new car and the anticipation while it is built

Can you get the sport exhaust with the new 911? If yes, get it.

Are you going to get the leather dash and doors (does it come with any off your seat options)?

I'd DEFINITELY recommend getting the adaptive sport seats with leather interior.

The Limited Slip Differential is included in the PASM Sport suspension package.

Bi-xenons are standard with the 2009. I don't know if it is a "must have" but you may want to consider the "dynamic cornering" option with the standard bi-xenons. I've included it in my order and it is about $690.

I'd say you are just about spot on. The only changes I would recommend are the following:

Heated seats - don't need them in CA, had them on my previous Porsche, used it once
Nav - neat toy, but with the aftermarket solutions that are portable, I just think it's superfluous. If it were $500, I'd say ok
If you like the IPOD then def get the universal interface
Full leather - waste of money at that cost, considering there are still many parts of the interior that are not leather. To do it all in leather is around $7K.
Adaptive sport seats - see my comment on full leather. Outrageously priced for this option.

Finally, I have seen a comparison of aqua and cobalt. I was so close to ordering aqua, so close, and I love cobalt. I think the aqua will look nicer than cobalt once you see them on the streets.

If you're buying a Porsche you don't need to stick some aftermarket nav unit in the window day after day. Just bite the bullet. If you order the XM sat. radio option as well you will get real-time traffic advisories. Perhaps that would be handy in downtown LA. The A.S.S. seats are great. The ventilated seats really do work. With a black interior they mind be handy. Aqua doesn't do it for me,--I consider it sort of a toned down (less saturated) cobalt.

Dang - the price has really gotten up there for a C2S, but you are missing two of my critical options - Full leather interior and Sport Exhaust. You don't have to cover every switch and **** in the car with leather to get a very nice look. The full leather option covers virtually the entire dash and basically all of the doors. Perhaps an aftermarket exhaust would do the same for me, but I wanted my car to be factory and the PSE enhances my enjoyment of the car tremendously. I would consider losing the multifunction wheel and the Nav. The Nav will look ridiculous in the car in less than 10 years, and greater functionality can be had at a fraction of the cost. I opted for the model designation on the center storage lid rather than Porsche crests in the headrest - the only time you'll ever see the headrests is when you are in the process of sitting down. Nothing is reasonably priced in these cars - I can't believe the PDK option price!
