Default Exhaust help

I have an 05 Carrera S. The car was purchased with aftermarket headers and bypass pipes. The car is too loud for me. I was given the stock mufflers when I purchased the car. I attempted to put them on but the brackets are no longer present to install since the headers were changed out. How can I put the stock mufflers back on the car with the headers?

If not possible then does anyone want to trade stock headers and brackets for a set of aftermarket headers and bypass pipes. You pay the swaping fee and shipping.

Adam,

Can't help you with the mounting problem but strongly suggest you send the stock mufflers to FisterD and get his exhaust hack done. It will make the sound of PSE without the programmed cutout between certain RPMs.

Agree that straight pipes are on the loud side.

FisterD is Darin Fister-a user here on Rennlist. I think I paid him $170 for the mod. I bought a set of take off cans here for $100. I think I was about $100 shipping to and from. This is a great mod for not much money. I think Cole had his done at a local muffler shop for even less. PM Darin for more information.

I am considering the same option as my PSE exhaust has given up the ghost I think. A "partially pulled orange plug" kind of guy but I guess that's all it takes. I am torn between getting the PSE replaced under warranty or during the Fister D exhaust, or both! Problem is I can not find Fister D. Has anyone seen him?
