The S comes standard with PASM. Beyond that you have two choices :
1) LSD - Friction disc lock on rear axle. Pull - 22% and Push - 27%.

2) PASM Sport - Electronically variable active damping system with two manually selectable modes and limited slip rear differential lock. Ride height lowered by 20 mm.
On the base 997 (non-S) you have three choices:
1) PASM - Active management of suspension firmness and a ride height decrease of 10mm from the standard suspension.

2) LSD - (see above)

3) PASM Sport - (see above)
When you are in the configurator, click on the "i" in the info column and you will see the descriptions I have listed above.

Hope this helps.

Yes you an have LSD with either the standard -10mm PASM or the P17 option with the -20mm Sport PASM. In either case you must also spec a set of 19" wheels.

I was told it was a standard on the 4S, well that is in Dubai, during the ordering of my November build

I would assume that this is the same as the normal S.

It is not the same with the 2S. The LSD is one of the differentiators of the 4S to the 2S when looking at the standard equipment of the two cars.

Why require 19s? It tripples the cost of LSD on a base car. ~$800 v. ~$2400 for LSD with 19s.

I don't think that is true. The stock 4's come with LSD standard and 18" wheels. You can get them with PASM and stay with 18" wheels.
