Default Tints added to my 997 cab

Here are two shots of my cab after having 35% tints added (the legal limit in Mass. for add-on film). I went with their best: HuperOptik nano-ceramic films (www.huperoptik.com) for looks, shielding and minimal radio reception impact. Of course, the "shielding" is all relative - some would say pointless - when you drive a cab. But it does look nice. Tint King in Billerica MA did the work - very professional crew (it's the 3rd car I've had done there). Very satisfied.

I wish you had shot the before shot with the side windows up so we could get a real comparison.

I personally prefer no tint on cab windows, since tinted windows stand out more when the top is down. Plus, I found on my former black cab with black interior, that it was so dark inside with the top up, that you didn't need tint to inhibit people's view into the car. By the way, I thought metallic tints only affected radio reception on cars that have their antennas in the glass of a tinted window (usually rear window, such as on my C55). Since the radio antenna is in the windshield of a Porsche, and other antennas are buried in bumpers and cowl covers etc., I don't think tinting side windows should have any impact on antenna reception.

All that said, your car looks great, including the nicely tinted windows.
