Vibration around 70mph
Hey folks,
I recently noticed a vibration at around 70mph on the freeway. The vibration is felt through the seat and not from the steering wheel. It seems to come from the rear but I can't be sure. Its pretty noticeable, you can see the top of my passenger seat vibrate.
My fairly new set of tires have less than 5k miles on them. I wonder what the problem could be? I've been on some rough roads earlier this year and hit a curb while back but didn't notice the problem until recently.
Think my tires need re-balancing? Could they be out of round? Or something else?
Any idears appreciated,
Thanks!

a variety of things can be contributing to that. The curbing of a wheel doesn't help,--depending upon the impact. Some times it's just that particular road and how the crown of the road is built.
If this is something that you feel on most roads at that speed then you have a constant to deal with. Did you have the wheels spin balanced dynamically with something like a Hunter machine?

I'll bet you have a bad rear tire.
