Qkenuff's wife has the Techart III on her convertible (TA-III on cab), I have it on my coupe and will also put it on my new cab next year. RUF in Dallas installed it for me and I never had any issues, even in 100+ degrees (it comes with its own different engine lid that does not go up anymore). A bunch of people have the TA-I (for example, TA-I on Mike's). PM me for TA-III pictures if you would like.
Thanks, very helpful. I like the way the T-I looks and the fact that the lid doesn't pop up at 70 MPH is VERY desireable. I always feel like I'm telling the State Trooper - "Yeah, I've been speeding....na na na

You are welcome. Just to make sure that I was not misinterpreted: with the TA-I, the lid will still have to come up. With the TA-III, you get a new lid altogether that can stay down because it supposedly allows for more airflow.

Thanks, Ben! I really like the all-red tail lights.. makes such a difference on a black car.
And dare I ask one more time - "No engine cooling issues at all"?
Thanks for the kind comments, everyone! And, no, no cooling issues that I am aware of... we had a minor miswiring issue that turned off the engine propeller, but that was it (I got an error message when that happened and had it fixed).
Now, I haven't tracked it and I'm a relaxed driver who doesn't push the car too much (except for an occasional sprint), but I have driven it for hours in 90-105 degrees running errands in the city, and never did I have an issue that I am aware of.
Let me get this straight. You added this wing to your car, and now you believe your engine has a propeller???
Ha ha ha... yes, you are right, while I was typing it, I knew it wasn't the right term; but for the life of me I can't remember the term that the error message used (it wasn't 'fan' or 'ventilator')...

Oh, the error message probably said 'propeller' alright, seeing that it was likely a translation from the Deutch. I think I've even seen that term in the manuals or somewhere before.
