Default New project

Well now that my 997S is almost (just waiting on the upgrade from VF for the supercharger) done, I needed a new project car. I have never owned a lambo before, and so far I am very impressed with this car. The mods start next week. I have decided to put the Pioneer touchscreen in this car instead of the 997, much easier to do in this car. Here are a couple of pics.

Nice. Are you planning on getting rid of the front wheel drive?

Yes, that is part of the plan, though it feels different than the awd 996tt's I owned.

You can get 'rid' of the FWD on this car??!! Is that a common mod?

I'm not sure how common it is, but I recall 1Carnut saying a few months ago that he didn't like AWD and I was curious. I've seen some people make their turbos RWD too.

A few houses up the street is a black one of these. I think he has open exhaust because I can hear him coming at least 15+ seconds before he passes my house. What an awesome sounding car! I do not think I would get ride of the AWD is this car.

The only Lamborghini I like. (Well beside the superlightweight one.) I also like the red/black interior.

+1 I like the red black interior too. Would be great to tie some of the red color on the outside of the car. You do not see red on many Lambo's so you will be able to do something original.

Thanks guys, I am no fan of awd, and it is possible to make this arwd car, though my shop guys are not sure how it will effect the cars balance, so that it still up in the air, though it is a different feel than my 996tt's were, It is going in next week, first up exhaust, hifi, nav ipod bluetooth, and hopefully steering wheel. This is my first lambo, so I do not know all the vendors for this car yet. It is way too quiet stock though.
