Default Strange Question - Front Luggage Comp. Dimensions???

Hi All,

I've searched for the last couple of hours and have come up empty. I need your help.

Does anybody know the dimensions of the front luggage compartment for the 997 C2S? I'm considering a 997S purchase, but have to be able to fit a small guitar amplifier up front.

I'd really appreciate if somebody wouldn't mind pulling out a tape measure the next time they've got a few spare minutes out in the garage.

Thanks so much in advance.

Best,
Brad

About 27" wide at the back of the trunk, it's almost straight for around 8" then tapers to about 21" at the front.
Front to back a little over 15" at the bottom then gets a bit bigger when you get above the toolkit.
15" deep at the front, to about 22" at the rear
There are a couple small "bumps" in each rear corner.

Hope this helps more than confuses. Before buying luggage or any thing else you need to haul in the car it's best to test fit. If you really need to carry the amp I'd take it to a dealer to make sure it fits.

13"x 22"x 10.5"

I just bought one of these, it fits nicely in the front trunk if laid on it's side, leaving enough room for the wind stop in front of it in a C2S cab. It also leaves a bit of room on top of it for a small bag.

You could get an item a bit wider (16" or so) and deeper (15" or even more) than this in the trunk, but this one works well.

Hope that helps.

carry-on luggage fits with no problem. a small guitar amp should fit (unless you think something like a 2x12 is "small")

Check out the Porsche home page for their custom aluminum-looking luggage that is modular. They should provide outside dimensions.
