Can't answer why would you need sport package on a sport car but I guess his thinking was like when we add M030 -seemed to me all of Porsches would have come with that standard. Bottom line, the salesman was trying to convince me that the car he had for sale was totally different from any other I'd seen and was worth the extra $. Both he and car is of the list - thanks to all

The dealer may have been confused, the Turbo, and only the turbo does indeed have a sport button that has some overboost that produces more power for a short period of time (10 seconds or something like that)

Well we all know car salesmen are liars.. When I bought my 08 gt3, he couldn't stop talking about how the market on the Cayman S was horrible and he could barely give me $10 for it. but then a week later when my gt3 was in for service (blown front shock) the service guy said Porsche recalled all the cayman loaner fleets because the car was in high demand.
