Other than the 40hp, bigger brakes and rims, does anyone know the differences between the 2009 base 911 and the S?

 

PASM - 10mm

 

The S has silver gauges ,smaller steering wheel with a round airbag and quad exhaust pipes.

 

Rear brakes rotors are the same. Aren't the front brakes rotors the same in diameter but different in width? Anyone know why are are that way or if the extra width will really contribute to shorter braking distances or just resist brake fade?

 

assuming xenon lights?

 

The ordering guide was posted here in the last 2 weeks, which should identify all of the differences between the two.

There is an "S" on the back engine cover unless "Deleted Badge" has been special ordered...

OK - now that I got that out of my system - check the doc as posted - there are quite a few changes other than some of the major ones that have been listed above - also some items are only available on the "S" vice the standard.

 

Smaller steering wheel, really?

According to the order guide they both have xenons.
Swiveling xenons are optional on both the S and the base one.
