Drop the lens line straight down and I might like the "EM" version even more.

reflector seems completely gratutious

They probably regard it as a reference to a classic Porsche of the past, but you'd think Porsche could come up with SOMETHING a little more meaningful.

 

I think the reflector is OK (though inferior to past versions)...but the new taillights are heinous.

 

The reflector is to narrow, better off without it.

The reflector strip is definitely too narrow/thin to be on par with the past 911s. I think it might look better if they raise the top line of the strip to the upper edge of the taillight lens, which'll thicken the reflector strip nicely. Since that basically fills the entire area under the trunk spoiler, the model insignia will go on the reflector strip itself. Now that'll be a more unique look.

 

I'm on the fence about the reflector but my guess is that it'll look much better in person and depending on the color of the car.

 

Bad idea with the reflector IMHO. Keep it to where it belongs- on older Porsche's!

I think the rear lights are the weakest point in this restyling.
The original ones looked great, even better in all red lenses!!!
The strip would look great in the "old" all red lenses!
now it's just too thin, and the rear lenses look really tacky! maybe if they were all red, it looked better!
