I personally loved my 996 Targa. It was a great car and I loved every minute of owning it, and still miss it at times.

I appreciate that my 997S with X51 is a significantly better car . . . as it should be.
Great info - - If I get a chance, I'm going to drive the 996 to feel it for myself, but from what you and others have said, I'll do myself a favor by focusing on the 997's.
