Default New guy- 2008 997 C2S

Hi all, have been lurking for a while and learned a lot so far. Experiences and opinions here helped with my order. Picked up my first P-car a few weeks ago. I'm at 1850 mi and will finish the break in tomoorow morning. Arctic Silver with Sea Blue full leather, Carrera classic wheels, Nav, Bose, thicker multi func wheel, carrera white gauges. Since delivery have added clear markers and polished exh tips. Here are a couple of pics.

Glad to. It is actually 2 separate codes- the 3 spoke multi function wheel is code: 431, then the thicker wheel rim is an exclusive option, code: CPA, "Thicker Leather Steering Wheel". I think the cost for these - $740 for the multi function wheel and $930 for the thicker wheel is a bit high, but I really like the wheel. My salesman was a little unclear on these too. I got the codes from the Porsche web site and then he confirmed them. Good luck,

Beautiful ride, zedcat. Why the classics? I'm torn between those and the lobster forks... but I think the classics would be at least $390 easier to clean the brake dust off of.

I had the lobsters and absolutely hated them. I don't care if they are light or not. They are the most dumped Porsche wheel in history, according to my Porsche dealer. When I tried to trade mine in on something else, they laughed at me. They told me they have them piled high in the warehouse. No one wants them. Stay away.
