Just bought my wheels and came with tires: need tire advice on Toyo proxy 4's?

The tires are Toyo Proxy 4's and are fronts 235/35 ZR19 and the size on the rear tires is 295/30 ZR19. Curious if this is OK size wise based on peoples experience and also if you had had these tires in the past your thoughts? I did do some research and although they are relatively cheap in cost compared to many tires they got really solid ratings. Curious peoples real life exoperiences with them? Thanks...

I just bought a 2007 Targa 4 back in 1/08 and it came with Michelin Summer 235/35/19s and 305/30/19s on Turbo rims.
My next tire planned for the car most likely will be Toyo Proxes 4 in the 295/30/19s before next winter.
Hopefully somebody can chime in that has some real life experience with them.

Not directly on point, but I just bought new 20" rims, and by virtue thereof, let my salesperson talk me into Toyo Proxes T1Rs -- as they were the perfect fit for the 245/30 and 315/35 upgrade. I was skeptical at first, but now I like them. A bit softer ride than the OEM Pirellis and maybe a bit more flex in the sidewall, but for everyday driving, I think they work well.

Toyo Proxes 4's are a decent tire but do not compare to the PS2's that likely came stock on your car. If you do not do any hard driving or DE events or these are your street wheel/tire combo then you will be happy. I ran these on my old BMW 330ci for the street and was quite pleased. They are sticky enough to be fun, work very well in the wet (better than the PS2's in deeper water) and wear well. I can't recall how loud they were... They are a HUGE step up from the old Proxes FZ4...those were they crappiest tires. Also to note if your car is lowered, they withstand camber wear quite well (at least on my 330).
Summary is: if you are not feeling the abs kick in or the psm light flashing on a regular basis (or even know what the light looks like) then these will be a great tire for you.
Enjoy!

I have the same set of tire/sizes that you have. I have them for 16 months with 3 AXs and plenty of high speed runs up to 155mph. Rear has 60% tread left, front is even better. Sicken tired of paying high price for PS2 and lasted 6K-7K miles.
