Thanks all. Some more driving today with - for the first time - my daughter who proclaimed it "the best car we've had". I'll wait for a few more weeks to do a "memory comparo run" against my M5 and then decide for myself.

I got my license plates and - ONLY IN NEW JERSEY - the license plates begin with "WTF"!!!!! I couldn't believe it.

BTW, three better pics attached. I won't upload any more I promise!

sclemmons - you can now see the seat backs.

"InTheAir", thanks for the uploading help and suggestions.

I'm in love.

CS4SCABHVN - Beautious. The interior color reminds me of a Bentley. Congrats.

Your neighbor in the gray house is watching from the bedroom with envy, and rightly so. Very nice. Congrats.

Wow, that magnolia leather is incredibly rich looking. What a gorgeous car!

Great looking color combo. And what a day it finally was in the NorthEast to get out and get some road time. Great that you could put the top down. Not warm enough here in CT. to drive with the top down yet.

Thanks all.

To answer msh26's question, ever so slightly clearer than InTheAir did the black area around the PCM was an original option. I haven't done a single additional thing to the car from BumperPlugs or anyone else.

As someone stated earlier, I actually didn't order all the options myself. The owner of the dealer that I bought it from did - but there were over $20K worth of magnolia leather and color options that he picked out for himself.

He only drove it for a few hundred miles and then moved on to the turbo. All I can say is that I'm damn glad he did - and equally for the fact that I didn't actually have to pay for all that!

Gorgeous car. All I can tell you as a new 997 owner is that the 997 is far superior to the 996. Awesome automobile.
