also, the lamb chop at flemings is pretty darn good too....
Try the desert sampler platter at Flemings-it's phenominal.

a couple of people asked about the seal grey 2005 997.

It's currently listed at $54,998... but I have the price down on it...

It's a Walters Porsche in Riverside (off the 91)...

I have to say, I'm not 100% serious about this car because

1) it's not CPO, which can be added for $1,900
2) mileage - at 37,000
3) color - not convinced on the seal grey just yet...

btw, any one have pictures of seal grey on gold wheels? that might convince me...

Since I'm not 100% on this car, if anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll give you the lowdown on this car... 2/05 date, lease vehicle... etc...

Always happy to "try" and help a fellow RL'er with a car purchase... god knows i did a horrible job for myself, maybe i can help someone else...

add: i'm going to look at the vehicle either tonight or tomorrow, so i can report on the condition of the vehicle. i'm just not looking forward to heading out there on the 91... definitely one of the worst freeways around... pm me if you want me to update you on how the vehicle is...

the salesguy (w/o manager approval) said he could get it down to $52,997 but again, that's without the CPO. with the CPO it'd be $54,897, making this car more expensive than the one i was bidding on over at rusnak pasadena.

also, if anyone is interested, rusnak westlake has a silver 2005. listed higher at around $62K i think. only around 15K miles. more options. more notably, the car has been sitting on the lot since last december. they haven't dropped the price, but i'm guessing they will take a deal...

lol... my bad... i didn't think so...

personally, i love the black on gold wheels look.. my buddy has it on his car... i really like the look, and was planning on that for the 997...

if i had seal grey, i'd go with silver champion RG5's... i think it might look a bit plain, though....

05 barebone 997 with almost 25k miles, no pay for more than $55k. I took my 07 997 black C2 with only a few hundred miles to carmax for appraisal 2 months ago and they gave me $62K, that's it! I said no way and walk. Will try to find buyer somewhere else!

well, they sold that car anyways... i'm just being patient that the right car will come around...

Currently negotiating on a Seal Grey 997C2. Miles are kind of high (37K) so I'm not thrilled with this car.

I'm not going to worry about a $1,000 here or there... just trying to find a car I know I will love...

I got busy at work and wasn't doing my usual "997 surfing exercise" on autotrader, cars.com, etc....

I just saw this car, and asked about it... It just sold today =( I thought it was a really good price for all the extras (GT3 aero, RUF exhaust/intake, short shift)... I know people don't like buying modded cars, but heck this was appealing... car sold for $60K via wire transfer...
