About two years ago I took advantage of an offer from AWE for free installation of their full system (not the parts; just the labor) in exchange for letting them dyno my car before and after. There was a slight increase in hp and torque. I suggest you do a search on the 997 board for the results they posted.

Quote: So the results are in! First of all I would like to thank everyone at Paddock Motor Sports in Haverstraw N.Y. All the work was performed by them. I highly reccommend them. They did a before and after dyno. The before dyno was my carrera with fabspeed cold air intake and mufflers my max hp was 264.3 and my max tq was 271.6 after they installed my fabspeed sport cats and my suncoast headers my max hp 293.4 and max tq 267.9 so WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THOSE NUMBERS???
I THINK THAT YOU DO NOT REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS JUST TO PLUG THE SHOP. WASTE OF TIME.

I have no affiliation with the shop, but I guess ignorance is bliss isn't that right genius?

Are you not able to post the graph or advise as to the profile of the torque curve? Why do the post and then not follow up? And don't hurt my feelings.

I'm having trouble posting the dyno sheet. Someone pm me or shoot me an e-mail and I can attach it. Thanks.

Why my interest is that I installed a pair of equal length headers the other day leaving the rest of the exhaust stock. Carfeels soft on the bottom. Not sure what to expect. I will find a dyno out here and do what you did. Thanks for the attempt.

That's one of the side effects I also noticed just after I did a complete AWE "header, cat, can" swap..... Where I find it a MAJOR pita is when blipping for downshifts..... due to that soft feel you describe, it requires more throttle input to get the revs where they need to be, than it did with the stock system....
The much improved top end charge, plus the new sound track it plays..... more than makes up IMO.

I'm not experiencing any softness in the throttle but is does get a little sharper once the car is fully warmed up.

Why does the pre-install run only go to about 5700 rpm?
