This is what I like to use... its great. It charges/maintains and desulphates... I hard wire it to the battery. Have no affiliations but just a satisfied customer...

I believe these are the units that Porsche uses. Just get the cigarette light attachment.

I use the way way overpriced OEM one. It does look cooler than the other brands.

CTEK. Same as the Porsche model and much more cost effective.

It's got two pieces: a cord from the lighter to the interface box (about six feet) and a second cord from the interface box to your wall outlet (maybe four feet). I use this one, and it works great. See the above photo.

Im talking about the other one... the Trickel Charger, its a wall plug adapter... not the one above..

Smile Porsche Factory Battery Maintainer

I have used the Porsche factory battery maintainer for 3 years. Its great and if you have a problem, its a Porsche part. I have used on both my 997S and Cayenne Turbo.

I use the Porshe one. I guess I like the peace of mind that if anything happens it's a Porsche product.

If that's the one that comes with the CGT, I can tell you the cord is at least seven feet long. Hope this helps.
