Tinting
I would really like to see a good profile and rear veiw of a Meteor with 35% tint.
Thinking about having it done.......what do you guys think?
Is there any problem with DE or racing with tinted windows?

Again, I ask, "Is tinting a problem for DE?" I have not seen anything in the rules about it.
Thanks for your time...........................

Your terminology is confusing..............DE is not racing. I will be doing a DE in mid June. If I do race this car, it will be another 2 or 3 years from now.

Bingo. Chris got it right. YOU brought up racing, which seemed really puzzling to me since, as I noted, I seriously doubt you will use your car to race (and I didn't mean that as an insult).
And also, I answered your question directly about tinting. YES, it is very unwise to tint the windows in a car that you intend to use at DEs. I will even go so far as to say it is downright stupid.
At a DE, unlike in racing, you MUST communicate with the other drivers. Passing requires permission . . . and thus the passee has to signal to the passer, you can go. Sometimes, the passer doesn't want to pass, so he or she will signal to the passee "no, I don't want the pass right now."
Also, whether you are at a DE or racing, it is very helpful to be extremely aware of what the other drivers are doing. I watch the other drivers' head movements and when they are looking in their rear view mirror.
If you tint your windows, you will make this whole process 100 times more difficult: Other drivers will have a harder time seeing you and knowing what you are doing.
So, you don't even need to look in the rulebooks to see that tinting the windows of a car that you plan to use at DEs is stupid.
That's what I said in my first response to you, albeit with less words and explanation.
I hope this second response is more understandable.

I don't have a side-by-side picture, but I've owned both, and meteor and seal are definitely not identical. Meteor is a darker grey, while Seal is a lighter shade with more blue in it. Meteor also has a much more visible metallic look to it, while seal gray, if next to a meteor, almost looks like a flat paint, rather than a metallic paint.

Drifting
excellent thread. Seeing them all lined up like this, I like Slate the best (just my opinion of course). It has a "wet" look to it.
